What We Handle For You
01 · Designed for Pilots

We handle everything.
You fly.

Our Job — Sharing Our Expertise

Over the years, our team has built an unmatched network of contacts, permits, and local knowledge across Southern Africa. We bring the same operational discipline used in commercial aviation to leisure flying — so nothing is left to chance.

Review the briefing. Climb in. Fly.

Every morning, you receive a full flight briefing package prepared specifically for the day ahead: current weather, NOTAMs, route considerations, and your flight plan. Every detail is already handled before you wake up. No hours lost digging through data. No last-minute scrambling. No unnecessary stress — just the freedom to focus entirely on what you came here to do. Fly.

You bring the passion. We handle the details.

02 · Our Story

Born from a love
of sky & bush.

A Bespoke Tour Operator

Aero Savannah was born from a dream shared between a passionate Swiss pilot and his adventurous South African wife. What began as personal flights over the African bush grew into a mission: to share the continent's raw, untamed beauty with aviation enthusiasts who share the same love for flying and adventure.

Founded by Florian, Aero Savannah blends professional aviation expertise with deep local knowledge. Every itinerary reflects a single belief — the best way to discover Africa is from two vantage points: soaring above it, then stepping into it.

That belief shapes every journey we craft — because the story never ends when the wheels touch down.

From the cockpit to the campfire.

Why Fly-In?
03 · Choose Your Preferred Support

Two ways to experience Africa from the air.

Whether you want to fly by yourself or benefit from the experience of a professional bush pilot, we build the perfect flight plan around you.

Fly Yourself

Complete freedom. Your aircraft, your pace.

You hold the licence, you hold the controls and the responsibility. We handle all the logistics — permits, fuel, route planning, and local knowledge — so you can focus entirely on the flying. An unforgettable African adventure, entirely on your own terms.

"Every detail was taken care of, making the whole experience completely effortless. I never had to think about the logistics or what came next — I could simply focus on what I came for: flying." Jürg Meyer · Germany

Fly with a Bush Pilot

All the thrill, none of the administration.

You take the left seat alongside one of our experienced safety bush pilots. They handle the complexity, airspace, weather, and administration — while you take the controls, absorb the scenery, ask every question you've ever had, and enjoy Africa without worry.

"What struck me most was how relaxed the whole trip felt. From the very first flight, it was obvious the pilot knew this terrain inside and out. That level of local knowledge gave me a confidence I simply hadn't expected." Megan Miller · South Africa
